Faith Through Grace
Appointed Visions
"For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
— Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV)
There are times in our lives when we don’t know what direction our life is headed in, but during those times we need to give our worries to God and put our faith in him. It is easy to become frustrated during these times as we wait for the vision to arrive, but we can encourage ourselves by praying, fasting, reading the bible, and listening to gospel songs that remind us that God plans to give us an expected end. This is very crucial because we know how important faith is to our relationship with God and we know that we can’t please him without faith. It is easy to have faith in the times when everything is working out the way that we desire, but during the times when we are lying in wait for the vision, we need to rely on our faith to keep us grounded. God’s timing might not always align with what we want, but his timing is always right. This means that he knows what we need, when we need it, and when we are ready to handle the vision that has been set before us. It might take days, weeks, months, or even years for prophecies to be fulfilled, but we need to remember that the vision will come at its appointed time, according to God’s plans.
