Faith through Hearing

"So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

In last week's post we talked about the power of faith and how faith is the key to salvation and overcoming obstacles in our life. Faith is a powerful tool that we need to utilize to be able to navigate through life. One of the ways for our faith in God to grow is to hear the messages that he has for us.This is why it is so important for us to know and be able to recognize God’s voice. If we know what his voice is, we will be able to follow the path that he has for us. In times where we are looking for advice on what we need to do, we can always trust in God’s word and his messages. God can and will speak to us in various ways: through a song, through the scripture, and maybe even during a conversation we are having with family or friends. If we can recognize his voice, we can find the answers that we are looking for. As with everything, we can always ask God for help in being able to learn what his voice sounds like and help being able to understand and apply his words to our lives. As we continue to do this, our faith will continue to grow.
