Faith Through Grace
God's Plan
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."
— Jeremiah 29:11-13 (KJV)
This past year has been challenging for many people and it is easy to feel discouraged as a result of everything that has happened, however, as believers we know that God will work all things together for our good. When we are going through different trials and tribulations, it is important to remember that the Lord is on the throne and he is always in our corner. This scripture passage is a great reminder of the Lord’s intentions towards us, to give us peace and an expected end. When we call on his name and make our desires known unto him, he hears us and he answers us and this is why some of our greatest weapons against adversities is prayer and building a trusting relationship with God. It is important to note that this passage does not mean that we will always be immediately delivered from trials, but we can take comfort in knowing that this too will pass and it is part of God’s plan for your life. We can also use these experiences to deepen our faith and our walk with God as we increase our communication with him to ask for guidance and wisdom.
