Salvation through Faith

" But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

— Romans 10:8-10 (KJV)

It really is just as simple as this passage says to become a born again believer. If you truly believe and say that Jesus rose from the dead and you accept God into your life, then you are saved. All that God requires from us is our faith that he is who he says that he is and that is how we receive our salvation. The word of God says that as long as we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains (Matthew 17:20). If we only need faith the size of a mustard seed to move something as big and strong as a mountain, that just highlights how strong faith is. Salvation is a lifelong journey, but as long as we have faith, we can get through anything and move those obstacles that seem impossible.
